We discuss the tireless efforts of advocates who spent decades supporting the creation of this museum, and we’re enlightened by stories of the rich history, legacy and impact of Latino culture in the United States. Our guest is Danny Vargas, one of Latino Leaders Magazine’s 2020 Most Influential Latinos and the Chairman Emeritus of the Friends of the National Museum of the American Latino.

Danny Vargas is an award-winning, nationally-recognized business and community leader and media commentator. A U.S. Air Force veteran, he is President of VARCom Solutions; a marketing communications, public relations, technology and professional consulting firm, and he is Chairman Emeritus of the Friends of the National Museum of the American Latino. He has held executive roles in companies like AOL, France Telecom and Raytheon, and numerous volunteer responsibilities including Chairman of the Virginia Board of Workforce Development, Chairman of the Dulles Regional Chamber of Commerce, Secretary of the Virginia State Advisory Committee to the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights and was a candidate for the Virginia House of Delegates where he was endorsed by the Washington Post.
